I live in Sausalito and often can hear the foghorns. My mom was raised in the Castro and Mission districts and was one of the thousands of school children who got to walk over the Golden Gate Bridge the day it opened in 1937. Thank you for all that you do to maintain our beautiful bridge. ❤

These guys aren't police, I honestly wish they were prosecuted for impersonating police officers. We not only pay taxes for REAL police, but not we're supposed bridge patrol "officers" in addition to library patrol "officers' (both of whom are security, not police). There's no law against defending yourself from them, just an FYI. The CHP may not like it, but these guys aren't the police and thus you can protect yourself from them if they lay hands on you.

The golden gate Bridge isn't strong enough to stand a major earthquake especially now since California doesn't take care of it its rusting away in many places and the paint thats protect the Bridge from fog is also fading away leaving its wide open of a threat attack from fog thats carrying ran to eat away the steel and soon the Bridge will fail

Too bad they don’t actually try to solve missing persons cases because they are too lazy to do their job! How about you at least show Sydney West’s family the “supposed” video of their daughter on the bridge?! What are you trying to hide?!! I bet one of the patrol officers killed her and they are trying to cover it up.

You have explained everything you look for when trying to find people that are trying to die now I know what not to do so that you won't suspect anything I don't live near this bridge but where I live there are cliffs with forced helper goody do gooder nuisances that try to stop people from killing themselves you will not stop me and if you think the food thing will work it won't I hate food and drinks anyways the point is no one will stop me from jumping off a cliff I want to die.

i have a fog horn

In 1988 I rode a bicycle across the Golden Gate in a driving rainstorm, part of a solo bike ride from San Diego to Oregon, then back to Eureka where I lived for 10 years. While crossing I pretty much just hunkered down against the rain. Since then I have driven across four times (twice in each direction). I love your bridge.

My uncle W.I.W.A. worked as you work. Bus cleaning and washing.

One of these officers totally saved my life.. I’m thankful 🥲 they truly are amazing
